Community Building & Mental Fitness for Educators
This workshop is designed to help educators cultivate positive healthy mindsets, enhance personal well-being, connect greater as a staff, and in turn, learn to better support the needs of students. Through an “experiential” exploration of connection strategies, post traumatic growth, mental fitness, and neuroscience, workshop participants will fortify their own mental health while learning complementary therapeutic modalities and fun, creative ways to bring these strategies into their classrooms.
Outcomes:

Self-Awareness: Strengthening Connections & Conversations
This workshop generates awareness of how social emotional learning is connected to every decision we make, everyday. The cornerstone of social emotional learning is self-awareness. It is the foundation to growing other social emotional learning competencies which leads to healthy relationships through powerful conversations that nurture connection and trust.
Outcomes:
Gain a greater understanding of CASEL’s SEL Framework
Experience self-awareness activities and learn improve connections and meaningful conversations with others
Engage collaborative learning while embracing the vulnerability needed to share
Quarterly “Refreshers”- Building Character & Relationships
Nurture and support the wellbeing of educators through an “experiential” exploration of a variety of principles, practices and character values to strengthen mental fitness and cultivate connection. Each workshop (4 total) is designed to be facilitated quarterly throughout the school year, to provide continuous support for teacher mental well-being, establish authentic relationships and build character values of courage, gratitude, forgiveness and compassion. Every workshop is tailored to fit school needs as they change, therefore our dedicated CARES facilitator will check in quarterly, prior to each workshop, to determine pain points and desired outcomes through surveys and check-in’s with educators and leadership teams.
Outcomes:
Build on existing materials and strategies while learning new skills to engage students in mental fitness strategies and to cultivate connection
Generate school cultures and classroom environments that are adaptable, resilient, and constantly supported by intentional growth
Enhance wellbeing and growth through intentional connection to explore strengths, struggles, and self-regulation

Build positive, healthy, mental well-being habits through Positive Intelligence (PQ) Coaching. This 6 week interactive experiential training builds a foundation of mental fitness by strengthening critical mental muscles to shift the balance of power from your inner Saboteurs (your negative self) to your inner Sage (your positive self). Most attempts at positive change fail because we stop at insight and don’t build habits. Sustained change towards a more positive mind requires laying down neural pathways to form new habits through consistent daily practice. And that’s what our PQ® Program empowers you to do. Weekly hour-long video-- delivers deep experiential exploration of the week’s focus
15 minutes/day of app-guided practice-- enables you to establish mental muscles (neural pathways)
Community weekly meeting with cohort--establishes support and accountability with other program participants (meet with cohort for 6 weeks on a regular weekly on a time/date that works for all)
Measurable Progress–provides instant feedback on exactly how much progress you’re making towards building the 3 core muscles of mental fitness.
Participants download the Positive Intelligence app which provides all the resources needed for this training: Positive Intelligence audiobook, weekly videos, mental fitness guided practices, progress tracker, community and extra added features.
Sample Weekly Schedule
Week 1: Boost Your Self-Command Muscle
Learn innovative 10-second PQ reps that boost your self-command. Self-command is key to intercepting unhelpful mental habits and rewiring your brain to respond more effectively.
Week 2: Intercept the Judge Saboteur
Intercept and weaken the most damaging Saboteur, the Judge. Discover how judging yourself, others and circumstances is a crucial source of your stress and quite damaging to your performance.
Week 3: Intercept Your Accomplice Saboteurs
Identify and weaken the top accomplice to your Judge Saboteur - Avoider, Controller, Hyper- Achiever, Hyper-Rational, Hyper-Vigilant, Pleaser, Restless, Stickler, and Victim.
Week 4: Shift From Saboteur to Sage
Strengthen your Sage, the counterpart to your Saboteurs. Your Sage lives in an entirely different part of your brain, generates all of your positive emotion and achieves peak performance through a calm and clear-headed mind.
Week 5: Boost Your Sage Powers
Discover the Sage regions of the brain that enable the 5 primary powers that form all of the emotional intelligence competencies considered crucial to professional success.
Week 6: Take Clear-Headed, Laser-Focused Action
Use your Sage's Navigate and Activate powers to take clear-headed, laser-focused action.
